How do you find and update the Condo Registry

How do I update Condo Registry information?

The Condo Registry is updated automatically when a condo corporation files an annual return  or a notice of change with CAO.

Typically, condo managers or board directors will oversee filings with the CAO through their accounts. Unit owners that find incorrect information in the registry should contact their condo corporation.

How can I find information about a condominium corporation?

You can use CAO’s Condo Registry, a free, searchable online database of Ontario condo corporations. Information is updated as corporations file condo returns and notices of change with CAO.

You’ll find key details, like:

  • Legal or operating name
  • Address for service
  • Number of voting units
  • Names of board directors
  • Names of managers and management companies

We suggest starting off by searching  the corporation’s legal name and region, which you can find in any formal notices or documents sent to you by your condo.

How do I find my condo corporation’s board of directors?

Use CAO’s Condo Registry to find your condo’s address for service, number of voting units, names of your board directors, management company and more.
