What does the CAT do?
Answers to your questions about the CAT.
The CAT is an online tribunal dedicated to helping condo communities resolve disputes conveniently, quickly and affordably. The Tribunal can help you resolve disputes related to condo records, noise, odours, light, vibration, smoke, vapour, pets, animals, vehicles, parking, storage, other types of nuisances, and compliance with CAT settlement agreements.

This guide may be helpful if you are having trouble creating a CAO account.
The Condo Act specifies that the Condo Authority Tribunal can resolve issues relating to records, unreasonable nuisances, governing documents and compliance with settlement agreements. The Tribunal can’t deal with issues that are likely to cause damage to the condo or cause injury or illness to a person. The CAT also cannot accept cases about agreements between owners and condo corporations to install electric vehicle charging stations or modify common elements.
