Create or access your account

You need a personal CAO account to file or join a Tribunal case.

Each person should use their own personal CAO account to access CAO services.

Authorized individuals can access their condo corporation’s profile through their personal CAO account.

Use an email address you expect to keep when creating your account. You may be unable to access your account if you lose access to that email address.

Before you file

Before starting your application:

  • Review the information about your issue in the CAO’s Steps to Solving Common Issues

  • Try the recommended solutions before filing

  • Decide whether you will file the application yourself or have someone represent you

  • Gather documents and evidence related to the dispute (for example, records request forms, governing documents, and evidence relevant to the dispute, such as emails and photographs, if any)

  • Confirm the names and contact information of the other parties

  • Review the Guide for Self-Represented Parties if you plan to represent yourself
