The CAO wins a Gold Award for Innovative Management from IPAC

Aug 20, 2018

The CAO is the proud recipient of a gold award for Innovative Management from Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC). The award, launched in 1990 and sponsored by IBM, celebrates new approaches to delivering much needed services that are relevant, cost effective, efficient, and especially, innovative.

Every year, IPAC considers submissions in innovative management to recognize exceptional initiatives that address issues facing society today. This year, IPAC received more than 25 submissions from across the country. Placing as an award winner amongst this esteemed group and being acknowledged by a jury of eminent public sector executives, underscores the CAO’s innovative services that are already having a positive impact on condo communities.

A backgrounder and short video tell the story of the CAO, including the launch of our online services and online tribunal, which were developed to bring much-needed support to condo owners, residents and directors, and to contribute to enhancing the enjoyment of condo living in Ontario. By encouraging early resolution of issues through the CAO’s suite of services and resolving disputes through Canada’s first fully online tribunal, the CAO has been recognized as a model for dispute resolution, solving condo disputes conveniently, quickly and affordably.

As the CAO continues to build and refine its services and move toward a more steady state operation in year two, we look forward to hearing from condominium communities on how to enhance our initial systems and services and to continuing our steadfast commitment to protecting and supporting condo communities across Ontario.
