The Condominium Authority of Ontario is looking for public and sector feedback on a new mandatory Requisition to Call and Hold a Meeting of Owners form prototype.
The new form is being developed to support upcoming changes to the Condo Act. Starting Dec. 31, 2026, owners who wish to requisition an owners’ meeting will be required to use this mandatory form.
Before the form is finalized and submitted for Minister approval, we want to hear from the people who will be using it.
We’re inviting owners, directors, managers, legal professionals, other condo community members and members of the public to review the prototype on our website by August 24, 2026. The estimated time commitment is less than an hour to review the prototype and complete a survey.
Your feedback will help CAO:
- Identify what’s working well and what could be improved.
- Assess the form’s usability, language, layout, and instructions
- Inform recommendations to the government on the proposed form
