*Section 11.7 (4) of O. Reg. 48/01 requires that the mandatory training be completed within six months of the first date of appointment/election/re-election where you were required to complete the training, regardless of whether you resign, were removed, or were disqualified. If you were removed or disqualified, you must complete the training before being re-elected or re-appointed.
You are required to retake the training if you are elected or appointed to the board on a date that is more than 7 years after your latest date of completion, and you must retake your training within 6 months of the new date of election or appointment.
**A return or notice of change must be filed with the CAO to remove the disqualified director from the condo corporation profile and this individual will not appear on the CAO Condo Registry. The disqualified director may serve on the condo board again if they complete the training and then are either elected or appointed to the board.
