Upcoming Advisory Sessions
See below for ongoing or upcoming CAO advisory activities. Anyone is welcome to join our advisory panel participant pool and indicate interest in joining advisory panels as they come up. CAO staff will periodically contact our advisory panel pool and invite them to participate. Subscribe to CAO below and answer a few additional questions to join the pool and be considered for the next advisory panel or user testing session!
Condo Authority Tribunal System Enhancements
CAO is working on improvements to its Tribunal system. Advisory panel participants will be asked to test new features of the system.
Guided Steps to Common Issues – Content Improvements
CAO is enhancing its Guided Steps to Common Issues pages to make them more helpful for condo communities. Advisory panel participants will review updated guidance and suggest ways to make the information clearer and easier to use.
Reserve Fund Survey User Testing
The CAO will be inviting user testing participants to provide feedback on our upcoming reserve fund survey and document collection system. This initiative will help us understand how the changes in economic conditions since our last survey may be affecting reserve fund planning and financial pressures for condo corporations. Subscribe to our newsletter and indicate an interest in user testing so we know to contact you.
Proxy Form Survey
The CAO has launched a survey seeking the sector’s input on a proxy form prototype to determine whether any additional updates are required to ensure the form is clear, user-friendly and better serves condo communities. The form will be used to suggest proxy form changes to the Ministry. The survey closes March 20 and should only take a few minutes to complete.
Open Public Consultations
The Condominium Authority of Ontario consults from time to time on its policies and operations.
There are currently no open consultations.
