How to search for CAT Decisions and Orders

The CAT’s decisions and orders are publicly available free of charge on the Search for CAT’s Decisions and Orders page. You can browse through all of the CAT’s decisions and orders, or you can search for specific decisions or orders.

When you find a decision or order that you want to read, click on its name to access it online, or click on the PDF symbol to download the PDF version.

Browsing through CAT Decisions and Orders

When you arrive on the Search for CAT Decisions and Orders page, you will see the CAT’s most recently published decisions and orders listed at the bottom of the page.

You can also click on the Dispute Types button to browse through all decisions and orders that deal with a specific issue.

Using a Simple Search to find CAT Decisions and Orders

You can use the search bar at the top of the page to find all decisions and orders that contain a specific word, phrase, name or date.

Using the Advanced Search

You can also click on the “Advanced Search” button to access more search options.

You can use the Advanced Search page to find all decisions and orders that meet your criteria. For example, you can use the Advanced Search to find all decisions and orders:

  • Published during a certain time period (using the Date fields)
  • Involving a specific party or representative (using the Representatives and Parties fields)
  • Issued by a specific CAT Member (i.e., using the Decision-maker(s) field)

For your ease, some of the boxes on the Advanced Search page have options for you to select –simply click into one of the boxes to see all available search terms.

Once you have applied one or more search filters, click the Search button to see your search results.
