The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services is requesting your feedback on forms frequently used by condominium corporations and owners.
The Ministry is proposing to delegate the administration for 19 forms under the Condominium Act, 1998 to the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO). Of the 19 forms, 17 would be delegated to the CAO on January 1, 2020 and two others on July 1, 2020. This would require changes to three Ontario regulations: 48/01, 181/17 and 49/01.
The CAO would post these forms on its website and update them, subject to Ministry approval.
The summary of the proposal states that the intent is “to provide easier access and usability of frequently used forms for condominium owners, mortgagees, purchasers and condominium corporations.”
